How to slim your figure in winter

What do I have to do to slim my figure? This is what we are giving you the chance to find out through our simple and effective tips.

 

Eat better to slim down

To drive out toxins and slim down, there's nothing like a detox diet. Here are a few weight loss tips to apply this winter to give your body a deep cleanse:

  • Drink at least 2 litres of fluids a day (water + lemon juice, broth, herbal teas, green tea, etc.).
  • Preferably, steam or cook in foil or paper to reduce your intake of animal fats (cream, butter, etc.).
  • Go natural and opt for unprocessed foods free from artificial colours, preservatives and flavour enhancers that slow down your kidneys and liver.
  • Choose seasonal fruit and veg with detoxifying and diuretic properties (apple, kiwi, lemon, pineapple, carrot, beetroot, leeks, cabbage, etc.).
  • Favour vegetable protein (such as tofu, pulses) and decrease your intake of animal protein (meat, eggs). Instead, opt for poultry and fish.
  • To top up your magnesium levels, go for legumes (split peas, lentils, etc.) and whole grains (bulgur wheat, quinoa, etc.). Their soft fibre helps with the smooth functioning of your digestive transit.
  • Try to limit your intake of simple sugars (cakes, shop-bought desserts, sweets, soft drinks, etc.)

 

Pilates: the right class for slimming your figure

It combines a range movements that target core muscles, to tone your body and help you hold yourself well. The key points? Keep your tummy toned and adopt abdominal breathing! Skipping rope: the essential fitness accessory

To get back in shape, how about trying out a simple and effective exercise? A skipping rope is the perfect accessory to help you burn calories, have a flat stomach and slim your figure. It makes you use your lower body muscles while toning the arms, shoulders, back and abs. 15 minutes of skipping rope is equivalent to 30 minutes of running. Once you have mastered the technique, it is also a great way to work on your stamina. So, are you convinced?

 

Sauna belt, a great way to smooth your skin

Have you ever tried wearing a sauna belt while exercising? This accessory is often used as a way to lose water, or even lose weight, to eliminate as much as possible. But beware, the simple act of wearing a sauna belt is not enough to lose weight! If you want to slim down and tone up your body, you are going to have to combine wearing a sauna belt with exercise and a healthy diet and lifestyle. This will help you smooth your skin, combat cellulite (caused by water retention) and eliminate toxins.
